Silandro in South Tyrol
Embedded in the lovely apple orchards of Val Venosta, Silandro comune is located about 720 m a.s.l on the road between the Resia Pass and Merano.
The peculiar landscape, with its 3000 m high mountain peaks of which you can get a glimpse from our hotel too, offers the ideal location for relaxing holidays, sport activities as well as cultural and food experiences!
With more than 300 sunny days per year Silandro is quite blessed as far as the climate goes.
A town with flair
The inhabitants of Silandro are proud of their parrish church ´Maria Himmelfahrt` steeple, which is the highest tower of South Tyrol (approximately 90 m high) and visible from afar: pointed, slender and red in colour, a true landmark indeed.
The pedestrian zone with its stores encourages tourists to stroll around and dwell in the cosy cafés and restaurants.
